Veterinary Leadership Coaching
You don’t have to figure out leadership alone.
Coaching for veterinary practice owners, managers, and medical directors who are ready to stop carrying every decision by themselves. Work through a real leadership challenge with a thinking partner who understands practice life, then walk away with a clear, practical next step.

Sound Familiar?
Coaching is for the leader who is good at the job and still feels stuck
You got the title, but nobody handed you the playbook for leading people who used to be your peers.
You keep having the same conversation with the same person, and nothing changes.
You are the shock absorber between the owner, the doctors, and the team, and it is wearing you down.
Your to-do list runs your day, and the big-picture work you know matters never gets touched.
You are stepping into a bigger role, like multiple hospitals or a regional seat, and want to grow into it on purpose.
You want to develop the leaders under you, but you are not sure where to start.
If you nodded at even one of these, coaching was built for you.
What Coaching Looks Like
Real challenges, real practice, real next steps
- Tell Maria where you are
Start with the intake below. It asks the questions a good coach wants answered before the first session, so your time together starts with your real situation, not small talk.
- Have a fit conversation
Right after your intake, you’ll pick a time for a free fit conversation. You will talk through your goals, whether coaching is the right support right now, and what working together would look like.
- Work on what matters most
Sessions focus on the challenges in front of you: a tough conversation, a team that is not following through, a decision you keep circling. You think it through out loud, try the words before you need them, and leave with a plan.
- Put it into practice
Between sessions, you take small, specific actions with your team. Next time, you look at what happened, what worked, and what to adjust. That loop is where the growth happens.
Coaching happens virtually, in English or Spanish. One-on-one and small group options, session length, and scheduling are discussed during your fit conversation.
The Benefits
What you walk away with
Untangle what is actually going on, separate what you can control from what you can’t, and decide where your energy goes first.
Plan and practice the conversation you have been avoiding, so you walk in with words that sound like you.
Leave every session with a specific next step and someone who will ask you how it went.
Maria has worked the front desk and led a hospital. She knows how one decision looks different to the receptionist, the technician, the doctor, and the owner.
As a DiSC Certified Practitioner, Maria can help you understand your own style and how to adapt it for the people you lead.
An hour that belongs to you and your growth, not the next fire on the schedule.
Why Invest in Yourself
Your team can only grow as far as you do
Veterinary leaders are great at investing in everyone else. You send your team to CE, you cover their shifts, you stay late so they don’t have to. Somewhere in there, your own growth slides to the bottom of the list.
Here’s the thing: every conversation you avoid, every expectation that stays fuzzy, and every decision you put off still costs something. It shows up as repeat problems, frustrated teammates, and good people who start looking elsewhere. Leadership doesn’t stay in your office. Your team feels it on every shift.
When you invest in yourself, the return reaches further than you. Clearer expectations mean fewer repeat conversations. Steadier leadership means a team that trusts you enough to bring problems early. And a leader with a plan gets some of their evenings back.
Thinking about asking your practice to invest? Many hospitals treat leadership coaching like any other professional development. Mention it in your intake and Maria can talk through what to share with your owner.
Coaching Intake
Let’s see where you want to go
There are no wrong answers here. Be as honest as you can. It takes about 10 minutes, and it helps Maria come to your first conversation already knowing what matters to you.
